The Board of Directors has selected a new HMO provider, 1CoopHealth, which is handled by the Cooperative Health Management Federation. Among the proposals received (including from Insular Life and Etiqa), the premiums offered by 1CoopHealth are the most affordable for the GMP members, with the same level of services offered.

Under the new plan, the maximum age that can be enrolled is up to 85 years old (from the previous 75 years old only). Also, you can choose a plan with maximum benefit limits of Php 110k, 150k, or 200k (per illness), depending on your needs and budget. As an added feature, the plan also includes a basic annual physical exam (APE). As with the previous provider, pre-existing illnesses are still covered. Plan members also get a 20% discount from Executive Optical.
